confident (1)For women, confidence is an essential key so we could enjoy life. Women who are confident are the most beautiful. Contrary to the popular belief that a confident woman must be pretty, tall and slim, these descriptions are not at all true. Confident women are not prettiest, tallest, thinnest people in the world. They are just regular human beings just like you and me.

You know, in a world that profits from insecurity, liking you is frowned upon. This is why many ladies of this generation fall into the trap of hating the way they look. Because of the false advertising, they promote to women that they should be this and they should that to stay beautiful. Beauty and confidence aren’t really bought from stores; they are built inside us. And it is you, and you only can decide when to start believing in yourself.
We know that feeling confident is a hard task, but we can probably give you some tips on how to start believing in yourself. Let’s start off, shall we?

• Stop the Hate – women are notorious when it comes to hating their own body parts. It’s as if women are built to hate at least one or two thing in their body. With men you never really hear about this stuff, it’s either they’re okay with it or confident with their body. One step to confidence is to stop hating yourself. Instead embrace you the way you are, yes even you “fatty” arms and thighs. One false advertising big companies spread around is we have to look and weigh like models just to feel beautiful, but now is the time to stop believing them. No you don’t need to look like a Victoria’s Secret angel to feel confident. You just have to like you.

• Be your cheerleader – another step to confidence is to be the cheerleader to yourself. We can’t always depend on other people to praise or compliment us, so the only choice we have left is ourselves. This step may be hard in the beginning, but praising and complimenting yourself daily can boost your confidence in no time. Becoming your cheerleading can be a sequence of positivity, which is great accompanied with confidence. After all, a positive life is a happy life.

confident (2)• Wear a smile – if there’s one quick way to improve self-confidence, all it would take is to wear a smile. The study shows that if you smile, your brain immediately thinks you’re happy. So even if the smile is forced, one way or another, it’s going to be sincere. Plus, smiling to others can give benefits too! When you smile to other people, and they smile back, admit it, it’s a great feeling, and it boosts self-confidence to know that we can make people smile. So put on your smile all the time.

• Relax – one last advice I could give you is to relax. In this world, stress and anxiety are a pretty familiar feeling. This is felt not just in schools but in work places as well. Relaxing comes in all forms and sizes it could be a massage or a sport, either way, the way you relax is all about you. By relaxing, we make our brain focus on less on stress and anxiety. And by focusing less on things that are bad for us, it could lead to a self-confidence that will last till the end of time.
